With various shared services – such as design engineers, tool makers, and molding operators – Air Logic is able to take advantage of these capabilities to offer not only catalog and custom products, but also contract manufacturing services.

While Air Logic’s catalog focuses mainly on check valves, orifice restrictors, filters, and fittings, there are a variety of other products and services in which Air Logic excels, thanks in part to the support within Knapp Mfg. Along with our catalog of components, Air Logic’s core competencies include nozzles, diaphragm products, ultrasonic welding, and dilution and dispensing systems. In the scope of services, we are here to aid your manufacturing needs through design support, validation processes, production, packaging, and regulatory compliance.

Molding Capabilities

At Air Logic, due to our vertical integration, we are able to be involved in the component or system manufacturing right away at the design stage. Our dedicated team of engineers work to help identify product dimensions, recommend materials, calculate flow rates, and much more.

 Injection molding machine

Between the 23 injection molding presses—with clamping force ranging from 27–240 tons and shot size ranging from 1–14 ounces—Air Logic is able to take on a multitude of projects and batch sizes to run simultaneously.

Assembly Capabilities

From low to high volume manufacturing, Air Logic is capable of handling a wide array of run sizes. From manual assembly and testing, to semi-automated, to fully automated assembly (including testing and sorting), we at Air Logic take pride in the quality of products we produce.

Ultrasonic Welding

Ultrasonic welding is a way to bind components without any extra chemicals or materials. Having evolved away from older bonding methods, such as Bromo, Air Logic is proficient at using ultrasonic welding to join parts, capture filters or diaphragms, and create hermetic seals. We have a variety of stand-alone and automated welders, with 20kHz and 40kHz frequencies, as well as servo or pneumatic powers. We continually optimize things such as weld joint design, fixtures, and process parameters to stay at the top of the welding game.
