Swivel fittings provide a reliable, adjustable connection between tubing and threaded holes. Air Logic offers an Integrated Base Seal style and an O-Ring Base Seal style of the fittings. Both styles allow the barb (and tubing) to freely rotate relative to the base, reducing stress from movement or re-positioning while helping prevent twisting or strain on tubing assemblies.

With multiple swivel configurations, such as elbow, straight, and tee, these fittings are ideal for OEM applications where durability, adjustability, and correct orientation are key during assembly or operation. Along with physical flexibility, there is also manufacturing flexibility. With swivel fittings, the option to adjoin to the tubing before threading into the hole is now available.

Swivel fittings connect tubing to a threaded hole. The barb (and tubing) can be freely rotated from the base. A captured O-ring provides a high quality seal against the mating part. Barbed connections are a clean, time tested and cost efficient method of connection. The hoop strength of the tube holds around the barbed fitting. Air Logic's first barb is free of a parting line to create a good seal, additional barbs increase holding force for tube retention. Buna is used as the standard elastomer, but we are also able to produce with Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (EDPM), Fluoroelastomers (FKM), or Silicone. Reference the Air Logic 10-32 thread interface and seal guide.

Barbed connections are free of lubrication or thread sealant used in other styles of connection. Simply push the tube over the barb and the connection is complete.

This product may be integrated into other Air Logic products such as check valves, filters, switches and regulators. Custom materials may be available upon request.

Swivel products enable the production of tubing assemblies that can be made complete with fittings. This enables error-proofing in manufacturing where critical tubing assemblies must be connected correctly. Swivel products also relieve stress on tubing due to moving or re-positioning.
