Both styles allow the barb (and tubing) to freely rotate relative to the base, reducing stress from movement or re-positioning while helping prevent twisting or strain on tubing assemblies.

Bulkhead Fittings provide a tubing path through a panel, with connections on both sides. A plastic nut is provided to secure the fitting in place. Air Logic's bulkhead fittings can be used as a tubing adaptor to change the size of the tubing inside the panel vs the tubing outside of the panel.

Static fittings connect tubing to other tubing, or threaded connections. Barbed connections are a clean, time tested and cost efficient method of connection. The hoop strength of the tube holds around the barbed fitting. Air Logic's first barb is free of a parting line to create a good seal, additional barbs increase holding force for tube retention.

Swivel Bulkheads combine the free movements of a swivel, with the through-panel features of a standard bulkhead fitting. Swivel connections allow for tubing and secure unions to stay intact and reduce stress by freely rotating around the fitting body. This in combination with panel-mounting capabilities makes sure the flow can follow its direct line without impingement.

This feature combination is ideal for OEM projects involving tubing passing through an enclosure while still facillitating movement, repositioning, and flexibility.
