NR-4000

 

The Modular Subminiature Non-Relieving Regulator is configured for accurate regulations of pressure without needing a pressure bleed. Setpoint creep and over-shoot are minimized by a combination of elastomeric seat and go high seat force. In an open system, Non-Relieving Regulator will operate without the risk of set point creep. In a closet system, Non- Relieving Regulator should only be used in combination with secondary relief.

The Unique Modular Dovetail design allows the regulator to be configured individually or assembled into a modular combination of pneumatic components.

Port Connections

Threaded Dovetail: A Modular Dovetail Slide with 10-32 UNF, 1/8-27 NPT, 1/4-18 NPT thread size. The 1/8" and 1/4" NPT contains a brass hoop ring insert. The 1/8" and 1/4" gauge port is available. During assembly, fittings should be finger tight plus one turn.
Union Dovetail:  A Modular Dovetail Slide with a thru-hole joining two units together with a common air supply.
Connecting Dovetail: A Modular Connection Dovetail Slide with no hole joining two units together with no common air supply.
Gauge Dovetail: A Modular Dovetail Slide with 1/8-27 NPT or 1/4-18 NPT thread sizes. The Dovetail Slide has the word "gauge" molded into the slide
Blank Dovetail: 2 Blank Dovetail Slides are supplied as standard.
Push-in Fitting Dovetail: Available for 5/23", 3/16", 1/4", 5/16" , 4mm and 6mm O.D. Tubing. 

Mounting

Panel Mount: 9/16" hole for panel mounting, mounting nut furnished. Panel mounting nut should be finger tight plus 1/4 turn. 
Base Mounting: .115 diameter mounting holes, use 4-40 mounting screws
"Wall Mount: Modular Dovetail wall mount.
Manifold Mount: A bottom cover with an input and output port. Buna N-008 O-Rings are included and seal on the face mounting surface. Port Dimensions .187" hole diameter .100" minimum depth. 

Solid Model Steps

  1. Download appropriate solid models and download the desired in and out ports
  2. Create new assembly
  3. Import the in port into the new assembly
  4. Import the outport(s) into assembly. Import once for each desired outport (ex. Import 3 times for 3 outports)
  5. Use mounting holes to constrain regulator ports
  6. Use bottom mounting surface to finish the constraint
  7. Repeat steps 3-5 for each additional port
  8. View the regulator from the top (knob is on the top of regulator)
  9. Review regulator selection guide and match the port selection to the model. Make sure to align the input port location.
  10. Save the assembly as the part number
  11. Optional: Combine model into a part
  12. Use solid model in customer assembly
