Umbrella check valves are Air Logic's first-in-class robust innovation in low cracking force inline non-return valves. The plastic bodies with preloaded elastomer umbrellas are designed for custom cracking pressures below 2 psi, with off-the-shelf options of 0.75 and below. In the forward direction, the pressure pushes up on the umbrella and it is automatically opened to facilitate flow through the circuit. In the reverse flow direction, the pressure forces the umbrella against the seat of the product and prevents flow from occurring.
