Miniature check valves will prevent flow in one direction and facilitate flow in the opposite direction. Check valves are sometimes called non-return valves. Floating disk style check valves have a disk that will change position inside of the body with the flow of media. In the forward direction, the media is able to flow around the disk. In the reverse direction, the disk is pushed against the seat and prevents flow.

The Housing design enables extremely responsive movements for sensitive applications. Air Logic's Miniature check valves are low profile, lightweight and fit into the tightest design envelopes. No lubrication is used in production or required for operation.

Miniature check valves are available in soft or hard seat material. Softer materials (ex. silicone in 403) seal better when closed, but harder seat materials (ex. acetal in 402) can withstand higher reverse pressure. Straight ports are generally used with 1/16" ID tubing, but may also be used in a captured design with an external O-ring seal (not included).

Miniature check valves are used in Ventilators, Printer Ink circuits, and various medical devices.
